“Just spend half a day doing nothing but this. If you do, you’ll be able to ski B-tele.”
There are about three exercises I make people do outside. Actually, only about three. The one introduced in this video is one of them. It’s nothing particularly difficult. At least on 75mm, it’s a very straightforward movement.
It might be a bit more difficult on NTN. You may get pulled back too easily-especially if you’re shorter, in other words, if you have shorter shins.
What you do is simple. Put on step-cut skis and just keep going. Then turn around and come back. On a really gentle slope, that simply means going up and coming back down. Just do it for half a day.
The reason you don’t is because it feels like a hassle. And that’s why,
even after years, you’re still skiing an alpine-like telemark. Yeah.
