I headed to 10th line on the opposite bank of Kurokawazawa to take a photo of the whole north-facing slope that I would be skiing down from Hakunori's 11th line (←the name of the lift). I see, so there's a ridge like this. By the way, the lift drop-off point is the highest point in the first photo. From there, you can move left and drop from a suitable spot, or you can drop down a little to the right and then drop. The rightmost point in the third photo is a large landslide, and the beech forest next to it is the Yama no Kami hiking trail in summer, and the Yama no Kami course if it's a ski touring course. The white area at the bottom left of the first photo is a forest road, which leads to the lift drop-off point of Hakunori slope 6th line. If you get on 11th line and go down the slope in this photo as you like, you will definitely arrive at Kurokawazawa at the bottom. If you keep traversing along the stream, you will join this forest road and be able to return to the slope without getting lost. Facing north. And super steep. Over a minute of overhead skiing. The young people from Switzerland apparently rode the lift 10 times (!!) between 9:30 and 15:00 (← they didn't eat lunch, and ate HARIBO for energy). Their eyes sparkled as they said that skiing in Japan was so much fun. There's really no other place like it in Japan. I dedicate this photo to all 11th line lovers.
