About 60cm of snow fell at the bottom. I wonder if it's about 70-80cm at the top? I didn't feel like breaking through the snow in such a place, but I had to make the most of this sunny day, so I went out after 10 o'clock and found the snow-breaking tracks of someone who had gone before me. Thank you for your hard work. Thank you. I'll use them today! The snow-breaking tracks were above my knees on fat skis...I can imagine how hard it must have been. The usual Wakaguri ridge has a moderate slope and a pleasant forest. It's a south-facing slope, but I'll go for it. Ugh...it was too deep and the slope wasn't steep enough. I started climbing again. This time I went to the usual north-facing slope. Amazing...it was bottomless and smooth. I hit my first overhead just before it got steep. It was almost overhead for the next minute. It was too long. I'm surprised I was able to hold out with sunglasses on. We stopped briefly when the slope became gentler. The GoPro attached to my shoulder was completely white with snow. I could hear myself saying "Fantastic!" Wow... It was all thanks to the person who was breaking through the snow at the front. Thank you so much! January 16, 2025
