First up, I lined up for the first gondola at Goryu. Got on early and headed straight to the rock-hard Expert course. The reason was that a guest had lost something there the day before, so I went to try and find it. Unfortunately, no luck. So it ended up being just one gondola lap before heading back.
After a short break, I moved over to Hakuba Cortina next door. The goal
was a bit of mogul “secret practice.” The run is short, but the lift
access is greatーperfect when you just want a few laps or to try something
out. I got in about seven runs, but the ground is already starting to show…
might be the end of the season there.
Back home for lunch, and then at 13:30, I was off to Goryu again! Even
I have to admitーthat’s a bit much (laughs).
The temperature didn’t rise much, so the slopes stayed firm even into the afternoon. With things only getting warmer from here, these conditions are actually quite precious. I alternated between moguls and groomers, and finished with the usual bumps downhill. Ah… that felt like a full day.
Some days in the mountains, other days on the resort. The season is definitely
running early this year, but now our club’s top season is about to begin.
Let’s keep a good balanceーconditions, gear, fun, and progression.
