In the morning, there was a person submitting a mountaineering report at
the No.3 lift station. I guessed that he would probably start walking from
the No.3 TOP. If that's the case, I'll be able to use the clear trail if
I go up before noon. Yes. Sometimes I'd like to follow in someone else's
footsteps, not be the first to do so. I might learn something from it.
Good. So I got on the No.3 lift at noon. Now, I have a little memory of
the ridge that stretches from here. It was actually me who cleared the
underbrush along this ridgeline to the No.11 lift TOP. It took about two
weeks with two seniors. It was a very hot summer. Every day I was swinging
my chainsaw around, and I drank 4 liters of water. I think the first day
was the day after I got the vaccine. Well, because of that, I knew every
nook and cranny of the terrain. I was going up and down every day. Now,
the trace of the people ahead of me were well on that ridge. He is probably
a frequent visitor. I was grateful to be able to use it and reached the
desired location in about 40 minutes. It was a good workout. The equipment
I chose this time was AT. The combination of the VOLANT Power Karve 188cm
that I set up the other day and the ATK Tech Binding. First of all, the
appearance. Metal on metal, this is undoubtedly cool. I am in love with
it. Well, I still have little experience with tech, and in terms of usability
and reliability, I still go with the old Diamir and the current Scout 11. . And so, it's time for downhill. Wow, the snow is even better than I
expected. And it's VOLANT after all. It's more like a mountain than a groomed
slope. The off-piste performance is about two levels higher. This rebound
that doesn't get too much. It's unique. It was a very satisfying downhill!
From the No.3TOP, I followed the forest road of Makinoiri faithfully all
the way down. Actually, I'm thinking of coming up from the bottom tomorrow
morning. I'll leave a trace so I don't have to break through the deep snow.
I'm thinking of using a 75mm telemark to enjoy the walk tomorrow. January
