In the morning, I enjoyed the soft snow at Tsugaike. Then, I wanted to ski on some firm packed snow, so I headed straight for Goryu Ski Resort. It was just lunchtime. I couldn't ignore my regular "Chitose". I ordered the daily bento for 580 yen (large portion of rice) and picked it up, then took the gondola to Alpsdaira in Goryu. My plan was to have lunch at the cairn where I enjoyed nabeyaki udon last year, but when I actually got to the starting point, there were no footprints to get there. I tried to walk on my feet, but it was quite buried. I immediately rejected it. Let's have it somewhere else. I found a good place. Chitose's bento is as delicious as ever. I'm satisfied. Now, I'm off to ski. I took some selfies. This time it was NTN. I checked the video to see what I was worried about with high-cuff boots. And above all, I rigorously checked whether the B-tele method and the actual demonstration matched. And of course, it matched perfectly! With this, if you receive the explanation or the point of view in the classroom, then each person can relive the experience by watching the YouTube video... that's exactly right. YouTube is convenient. Well, this time I had another big realization. That is one of the answers to the question, "Why do I take selfies?" It's because "I can deeply experience the MAX feeling / omnipotence when I ski without taking a selfie". No, it's really true! In my case, I take selfies by attaching a camera to the tip of one of the ski poles. So one hand is fixed. It was surprisingly difficult until I got used to it. Even now that I'm used to it, if the performance of normal skiing with two ski poles is 100%, the performance of selfies with one hand fixed to the camera is 30% to 60% OFF. Of course, the difference in numbers depends on the environment. Even on groomed slopes where the impact is the least, at least 30% of the snow has fallen. Therefore, after taking several selfies in a row, you put the camera in your pocket and head downhill stress-free, feeling like you have reached a zenith. Your speed is 30% higher than before. There's no way this isn't fun (←definitely!). In fact, in order to experience this one super run, I have been taking many stressful selfie runs... Yes, that's right. It might actually be true, isn't it? I set it up by myself and enjoy it by myself. Wait, I grew up an only child, didn't I? That was a story about the unexpected benefits of taking selfies.
