There's still a lot of snow in Tsuga no Mori. So Golden Week is over. And
at the same time, the ski resorts are closed. Then I waited for a week.
What was I waiting for? I was waiting for the snow to be removed and the
roads to open up. And today, when I went up, I was able to reach the bottom
of Tsuga no Mori. Lucky. When I got off my bike, I was already on the slope.
And there was even a trace of the mogul lane. Good! So I skied the beautiful
flat slope three times. From there, I went to the mogul lane maintenance.
Yes, this time I came up here because I wanted to ski the mogul lane at
NNNBC. And I also wanted to take a video. It's quite difficult to film
during the season. Especially since I'm on my own. There's no one around
today, so I can set up my tripod and go around as much as I want. The only
thing that was unfortunate was that I wasn't good at the remaining mogul
pitches. It's a bit like winding roads, and my body is swaying from side
to side. Oh dear... But I can't be greedy... I just keep skiing. As I go
over and over, the moguls wear down and come in just the way I want them
to. That's how it should be! But I didn't have that much time today, so
I headed home at noon. The feeling of skiing over the moguls is still lingering
deep inside my body... Mmm, I think I might end up going back. It's only
40 minutes from home on an electric-assist bike! And I didn't get tired
or sweaty either. Hmm. Next time, I might build my own mogul lane from
scratch. May 13, 2025
