After spending four days in the snowy mountains, it's a little sad that there's no snow around my house. Well, if I walk up there for 30 minutes, I'm sure there'll be some snow left on the side of the road that hasn't disappeared... I imagine that's it! Seeing the snow will calm me down. I had a full suspension mountain bike at the back door. It's only used for a short period of the year, from when all the leaves have fallen until the snow piles up, but that's fine because this is the best time to ride in the mountains without damaging the road surface. The piled up leaves make a good buffer. Anyway, yesterday I went to Hakunori Ski Resort, which is right in front of me. I pushed it up and rode it downhill. As expected, there was a little bit of snow left on the north-facing slope. Well, that's fine. And this morning. This time I headed towards Tsugaike Ski Resort. According to Facebook, the upper alder slopes are being snowed with a snow machine. Oh, it's snow! I had to go and see this. And after about an hour of hill climbing, there was a lot more snow than I had imagined at the site. The staff are working hard in preparation for the opening. Thank you. I hope I can ski at least one slope from the beginning of December. Now, I took a quick downhill run to Hakuba Town. I received my Hakuba Valley common ski season pass and was all set. I was excited as I climbed the hill again and returned home. Ah, I unexpectedly rode my bike today.
