Weekend, Saturday morning. A customer just came, so I went out with him.
This is an unexpectedly good condition! Hmm, I didn't have too high expectations
for the compressed snow of Hakunori, so that's why. I will reflect. I had
a great time skiing. Thank you very much this time. Then, I was called
to troubleshoot the next customer's problem, and unfortunately I had to
leave midway. Ah, I wanted to ski more. The next time I left was after
2pm. The conditions on the ski slopes were like those that had melted and
started to harden again. The equipment is Xplore. Ski is M62 (182cm). I
had no experience with this ski of this length, so I did a test ride of
just two lifts. The first one was the usual B-tele. That's good. BC cross-country
and Xplore are no fun on the slopes with compacted snow and just put stress
on the equipment, but when they loosen up and get mushy, it becomes a bit
of a battle. The image is like a mountain in spring. You can clearly see
that there is less stress on the equipment compared to hard packs. Then
the second one. Let's try A-tele and see what you come up with! I tried
up and down movement. Hmm, it's too fresh... It feels like telemark. And
it's so scary that the information from the snow is so cut off! This is
"riding", yes. I found it drowsy and scary, so I switched back
to B halfway through. Ah, I'm getting some information. Because I'm pushing
it. And I'm searching all the time. I realized once again that A and B
are really different. At the beginning of the week, it looks like it's
going to rain for a few days. There will be no one else on the slopes and
the conditions will be softer. I wonder if I could enjoy the slopes. Looking
forward to it. February 17, 2024
