Kyoko skied for the second time of the season with Telemark. The resort
slopes are hakunori. The areas where the snow loosens first are the top
of the 3rd line, the top of the 5th line, and the 9th line. East facing
and sunlit angle. Even if you're facing the same direction, coming down
from the 5th line and entering the 4th line makes it feel stiff. Well,
Mahoroba Club is located at Wakaguri Slope. So the familiarity is 4th line,
5th line, and 3rd line. Ah, when I say line, I mean the lift number. The
first line is in front of our hotel at the edge of the ski slope. From
there, the numbers increase in order towards Satomi Slope. Personally,
I feel that it would be nice if the numbers were easier to understand than
Tsurugi, Asahi, or Chinguruma, as is the case with rooms at inns. Now,
I would like to introduce the existence of the 9th line to those who are
mainly on the Wakaguri slopes. The name is Satomi Ridge Course. Skiing
distance 800m/average 18° (← Is that really the distance??). Let's ski
here non-stop first. In fact, the good thing is that it's not very crowded
(even in Hakunori, which isn't crowded). It is recommended to ski first
in the morning as it loosens up quickly. Now, let's take a moment to review
the distance. 4th line is 700m. 5th line is 1150m. 3 lines are 1200m long.
Tsugaike's white birch tree is 1200m long. Champion 1000m. Toga no Mori
650m. It turns out. Let's ski non-stop for at least 1000m. It's okay to
take it slow. It just doesn't stop. It's important. When you go to Tsugaike,
the distance from the gondola summit to the intermediate station is 3000m.
The longest distance from Tsuga no Mori via alder to the gondola station
is 5000m (!). If you can ski 5km nonstop, you're among the best. Let's
try Tsugaike non-stop skiing in the morning. Pre-purchasing online tickets
is a must. January 31, 2024 |
