Ms. T came to Mahoroba. Has it really been two years?
It was so nice to see her back on skis?carefree, relaxed, and having fun like always.

But maybe the long break showed a little… Her trusty T3 boots “welcomed” her by falling apart the moment she put them on. Oh no! And then we noticed the lining of her jacket crumbling away too. Double oh no!

Still, gear trouble is never an issue at our club. She slipped into a Norwegian sweater instead and it suited her so well that we all burst out laughing. With the gray hair, sunglasses, and that sweater, she looked just like some chic foreign skier straight out of a magazine.

And then she skied smooth, cool, and effortless. The kind of no-nonsense skiing you see from foreigners cruising nonstop down long runs. Honestly, with that style, even a 5km nonstop run at Tsugaike would be a piece of cake. Next time, she should totally try it!
